Stoutreach was born from Jason Stout’s personal journey and extensive background in outdoor education. After facing personal tragedies early in life, Jason found solace and purpose in the natural world. His transformative winter leadership expedition became the catalyst for a national wilderness program that now serves youth, families, corporate groups, and military families navigating stress, trauma, and transitions.

Jason’s work is rooted in the belief that nature-based experiences can drive emotional healing and build long-term resilience. His programs go beyond outdoor recreation; they’re about fostering mental health and personal transformation. From helping teens build confidence to providing space for military spouses and veterans to process their journeys, Stoutreach emphasizes the healing power of the outdoors.
