Thames Valley Police have confirmed they are “assessing the information in line with our established procedures” and have held discussions with the Crown Prosecution Service to decide whether the case should advance into a full criminal investigation. Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has stated that King Charles III and the royal family will support and cooperate with any legitimate police inquiry into the matter, and senior royals including Prince William and Princess Catherine have expressed deep concern over the ongoing revelations.
