Galentine's and Valentine's in Marbella

After last week's milestone episode, we are pleased to welcome you to episode 101 of the Marbella with Him & Her weekly podcast brought to you by the husband and wife team PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah).

They start off with Hannah telling their listeners about the Valentine's message that PJ sent to Nicole to read out during their recording of the latest Good Morning Spain (@goodmorningspaintv) English breakfast show that goes out on regional Spanish TV each week.

On Thursday morning Hannah went for a personal training session with Costa del Sol personal trainer Scott Roberts (@scottreviveandthrive and @aloha-fitnessstudio). Hannah speaks about his sensitivity to women that have had children and the plans he designs for them to address weight and strength issues. Hannah was put through her paces even though she has great triceps (apparently)!

This week's Hogan Stand quiz was the Valentine's themed one where all questions related to love or romance in some way. PJ's team managed to come second, despite their very bad start.

Hannah's weekly catch up with her dad was at Hustle n Flow on Friday, after which Hannah headed off to the Marbella Beauty Academy for a €10 facial. Find out how it went on the podcast.

Also, on Friday they were both interviewed by Adam Woodward of The Euro Weekly News (@euroweeklynews) about the podcast and reaching 100 episodes. Be sure to check out next week's paper for the full article.

Later that evening Hannah joined Meadhbh and Aoife for a Galentine's get together starting off at the Hogan Stand (@thehoganstand) for Happy Hour and then on to La Tizona for wine and cheese. Meanwhile PJ had met up with work colleagues Joshua and Ysa for a Palentine's night out in San Pedro, starting off at La Fria for tapas and then on to Bar Guerra (@bar_guerra). After that they headed to Havana 65 for cocktails (@havana65sanpedro) where they were spotted by what was now 5 girls on the Galentine's night out. Listen to the chaos that ensued!

The weekend was very chilled, and they enjoyed some pie and mash. The pies were from the Pie Shop Estepona and PJ made some buttery mash to accompany them.

This week's Euro weekly News articles included the story of an American buying an entire Spanish village on the border of Spain and Portugal for €310,000, the terrible state of the roads that is now considered a crisis and the damp issues do many homes are encountering due to the constant rain over the last few weeks.

They also discuss Bad Bunny at the Superbowl, Chinese New Year and give a shout out to a listener called David from Germany who got in touch after last week's podcast and enjoys hearing about San Pedro as he and his family have been regular visitors for the last 25 years.
