Compiler Error Early versions of iPhone OS were limited to a black home screen background, but iOS 3.2 added the capability to finally change it. iOS 4 brought emoji support to the iPhone and iPad for the first time via a built-in keyboard. Although available since the very beginning, iPhone OS 2 brought a scientific calculator to the base feature set when the device was in landscape. Notification Center finally made its debut in iOS 5, allowing users to manage notifications.
