Wife of 'American Idol' Alum Shot Dead in Bed: Hubby, Daughters, Unharmed

Caleb Flynn calls 911 at 2:30 a.m. on February 16, claiming a burglar has entered his Ohio home and shot his wife, Ashley Flynn, twice in the head.

Flynn, a former music pastor, tells the dispatcher that he was not in the room at the time; he was with their daughters in their room, and they are still asleep.

When Tipp City officers arrive, they find signs of an apparent forced entry.
