457 The Transformational Church, Prays Together Wk 2 011523

What is a transformational Church? How can we become a church that God uses to help transform those that attend? A church that God uses to transform the community where it is located. A church that God uses to help transform the world around us! One of the most important characteristics of a transformational church is our willingness to participate in and our confidence in prayer, not just as individuals, but with other believers, gathered together with the purpose of seeing God's glory demonstrated.

Prayer leads to transformation! God desires us to be a praying church.

We want to share this today because corporate prayer, group prayer, shared community prayer is absolutely as important as preaching and teaching in a healthy church. Praying together is a key to opening God's presence and work among His people in unique ways. This has been an essential part of the church since its creation. We want to make this an even more important part of who we are at Berea.

Maybe you have never placed your faith and trust in Jesus. We would love an opportunity to share with you how to do just that! That would be an incredible way to begin the New Year. God loves you. He created you and He has a plan for you in 2023. Maybe that plan begins with taking the first step toward a relationship with Him today. If you know Jesus but do not have a church home, we want to invite you to be a part of what God is doing among His people at Berea Christian Church.
