465 Stay Focused pt 1 040223

The world is distracted. The odds are pretty good that you are distracted. Even right now while you are reading this. You probably got a text message or an ad popped up on the screen or you looked away from the paper and lost your place. It can be hard to get anything done with all the distractions around us. What are we focused on in life?
Unfortunately, the Church can also lose focus. Over the course of this next week, we will be fixing our eyes on Jesus and what He did for all of us through His death, burial, and resurrection. These events lay the foundation for our faith and provide us with the hope we are to share with all of those in need around us.
We want to invite you to join us for each of our gatherings this week. We will begin with our Sunday service on April 2nd at 10:00 a.m.. On Sunday evening at 6:00 we will be focusing on Jesus through a night of worship. Thursday at 7:00 we will be hosting a Maundy Thursday Communion service to focus on what took place in the upper room on the night before Jesus’ arrest. Then on Friday at 6:00 we will host a Good Friday dinner before our service at 7:00. All leading up to the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, April 9th at 10:00 a.m.. A week focused on Jesus the author and perfector of our faith.
It would be an honor if you chose to join us for this week of focus on our Savior. We welcome you to come and be a part of our family here at Berea. If you cannot attend in person, then please join us live online. We look forward to meeting you soon.
