Charles Kelley from Lady A jumps into my very questionable London “party taxi” for a drive around Soho… and things get chaotic very quickly.

With cameras duct taped to the dashboard and Charles trying to navigate British road rules, we end up debating backseat driving, the struggles of being 6’6 in a tiny car, and somehow breaking into full Lady A karaoke in the middle of central London.

Somewhere between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square we also realise we might be driving in a bus lane.

Charles also talks about the 80s nostalgia behind his new solo music, the British artists he loves, why UK country fans are some of the most dedicated in the world, and what it feels like to watch the next generation of country artists take over the genre.
