Jamie Laing

Jamie Laing

Season Two of Daddy Issues Podcast is being kicked off by the AMAZING reality TV star, co-founder of gourmet sweet company, Candy Kittens, and fellow podcaster, JAMIE LAING. Jamie's parents divorced when he was eight, which not only moved Jamie from his family home in the countryside to a new home in London with his mother, but he was also soon sent off to boarding school not long after. Losing everything he knew as familiar, he began seeking validation from friends, girls and being the one making everyone laugh. What this really was, was Jamie terrified to lose anyone else in his life, so had started his long-term relationship with people pleasing, saying 'yes' to promises he couldn't fulfil, and always wanting to be liked. Jamie recently realised that having thought he'd figured himself out by the latter half of his twenties, his early thirties have, in fact, left him feeling much less grounded than he expected. He's having to finally face his relationship with his father, and how, with a new perspective of life and deeper level of understanding, he intends to change it for the better.
