I am SO EXCITED to give you an episode from front woman of the unbelievably sexy and cool rock band, Yonaka...THERESA JARVIS! Having only formed 5 years ago, they’ve already toured with Bring Me the Horizon and Fever 333, and have supported Kasabian, The Cult and The Libertines, and have had songs featured in the film Fast and furious, wrestling channel, WWE, online game, League of Legends, and TV show, The Flash...to name just a few. Having not seen each other since music school, Theresa and I bumped into each other at a Christina Aguilera gig (I know) late last year and blew up each other’s eardrums attempting to catch up. Turned out she’d become a fan of the podcast, whilst I’d become a mega fangirl of her rock band, Yonaka. To my utter joy Theresa asked to come onto the podcast to tell her story. It was so moving to hear a part of her life I had no idea existed behind this light, vibrant and incredible woman. (And WHAT a woman). She makes me laugh more than most and lights up every room she walks into. She is a true example of someone who has managed to channel something painful and traumatic into something positive and creative for herself.
