Welcome to the top women's rugby news in under 60 seconds for Nov 7-13. We're back with our weekly recap after a hiatus where we covered every single match of the 2021 Rugby World Cup. This update will be longer than 60 seconds as we get everyone caught up so stick with us. Speaking of the RWC, hosts New Zealand became the first host nation to win a Women’s Rugby World Cup after they defeated England 34-31. They have now won an astounding six of the nine Women’s Rugby World Cups. France took third after they blanked Canada, the only amateur side in the Final Four 36-0. 42,579 watched in person at a sold-out Eden Park while 1.7 million watched the Final on ITV.
