Vatican II gets blamed for everything that seems to go wrong in the Church—bad liturgy, empty pews, doctrinal confusion, even the cultural chaos of the 1970s. But many of the claims people repeat about the Second Vatican Council collapse the moment you actually examine what the council taught.
