Story Transcript:

Ga: Bhí Earrach i mBaile Átha Cliath, agus bhí an scoil lán le grian agus fuinneamh na mac léinn.
En: Spring had come to Baile Átha Cliath, and the school was filled with sunshine and the energy of the students.

Ga: Bhí Aoife, cailín cúthail leis an ngrá do litríocht, ag siúl go socair tríd na conairí geal.
En: Aoife, a shy girl with a love for literature, was walking calmly through the bright corridors.

Ga: Bhí mála lán le leabhair aici agus dánta scríofa aici féin d'fholach go cúramach ann.
En: She had a bag full of books and poems she had written herself carefully hidden inside.

Ga: Shíl sí nach raibh sí réidh fós chun a cuid oibre a roinnt.
En: She thought she wasn't ready yet to share her work.

Ga: I seomra cluthar i gcúinne de Scoil Phoiblí Bhaile Átha Cliath, bhailigh Club Litríochta le chéile gach seachtain.
En: In a cozy room in the corner of Scoil Phoiblí Bhaile Átha Cliath, the Literature Club gathered together every week.

Ga: Bhí aoibh mhaith ar gach duine mar ghuigh siad laethanta saoire Cásca céanna ar a chéile.
En: Everyone was in good spirits as they wished each other the same Easter holidays.

Ga: Bhí cathaoireacha compordacha ann agus ballaí lán le seanteidil clúdaigh cruiteach.
En: There were comfortable chairs and walls full of old titles with crumbling covers.

Ga: D'oscail sé seo do Aoife áit fháilteach chun a cuid aislingí a roinnt.
En: This opened a welcoming place for Aoife to share her dreams.

Ga: Bhí Cillian, buachaill óg le croí lán le grá do spóirt ach briseadh ealaíne freisin, ag teacht isteach leis féin den chéad uair.
En: Cillian, a young boy with a heart full of love for sports but a break in art as well, was coming in for the first time by himself.

Ga: Bhí sé beagáinín neirbhíseach, ach is cinnte nach raibh sé ag iarraidh go bhfeicfeadh éinne é ar an gcamchéim.
En: He was a bit nervous, but he definitely didn't want anyone to notice he was out of step.

Ga: Bhí sé ag iarraidh rud nua, rud difriúil a thriail.
En: He wanted to try something new, something different.

Ga: Nuair a thosaigh an cruinniú, bhí boladh tae agus cáca milis san aer.
En: When the meeting started, there was the smell of tea and sweet cake in the air.

Ga: Ghlac Aoife anáil dhomhain.
En: Aoife took a deep breath.

Ga: "An bhféadfainn dánta a léamh an tseachtain seo?" d'iarr sí go ciúin.
En: "Could I read some poems this week?" she asked quietly.

Ga: Bhí a cuid focal chomh soirbh.
En: Her words were so gentle.

Ga: B'é seo an nóiméad a raibh eagla uirthi roimhe.
En: This was the moment she had been afraid of.

Ga: Thosaigh sí. “In amhráin na gaoithe, ina luas, scríobham dán,” a dúirt sí arís go ríoga.
En: She began, "In the songs of the wind, in its speed, I write a poem," she said again with royalty.

Ga: Éisteadh gach duine go cúramach.
En: Everyone listened carefully.

Ga: Bhí dán neamhghnáthach aoibhneas ag scaipeadh an tseomra, agus nuair a chríochnaigh sí, bhí tost ann.
En: An unusual poem of joy spread through the room, and when she finished, there was silence.

Ga: Bhí Cillian ag suí ar thaobh amháin, agus bhí na focail ag preabadh ina chroí.
En: Cillian was sitting on one side, and the words were bouncing in his heart.

Ga: D'ardaigh sé a lámh, rud a bhí neamhghnách dó, agus thosaigh sé ag caint.
En: He raised his hand, something unusual for him, and he started to speak.

Ga: “Féin, níor aithin mé go raibh na focail is mó ríthábhachtach i m'aigne fós.”
En: “Myself, I hadn't realized that the most important words were still in my mind.”

Ga: Scaoileadh spiorad nua ann.
En: A new spirit was released in him.

Ga: Thosaigh sé ag insint scéal dá chroí imníoch, ag mothú saor óna staide athléime a bhí aige.
En: He began telling the story of his anxious heart, feeling free from his rebound state.

Ga: Nuair a tháinig an cruinniú chun deiridh, bhí cuma nua-aimseartha ag Aoife.
En: When the meeting ended, Aoife looked different.

Ga: Bhog an t-iontas céanna trí Aoife – bhí na focail a labhair Cillian sá iomráiteach.
En: The same surprise moved through her – the words Cillian spoke were remarkable.

Ga: Rinne sí an cinneadh míorúilteach go raibh sí ag iarraidh a cuid oibre a roinnt níos mó.
En: She made the marvelous decision that she wanted to share her work more.

Ga: Faoin am a bhfág Cillian, bhí meangadh mór ar a aghaidh.
En: By the time Cillian left, there was a big smile on his face.

Ga: Thosaigh sé ag cuimhneamh nach é an pobal spóirt amháin atá ann dó, ach go bhfuil áiteanna eile le níos mó soinsithe agus tuiscint.
En: He started realizing that it's not just the sports community that is there for him, but there are other places with more exposure and understanding.

Ga: De réir a chéile, lean Aoife uirthi ag léamh a cuid filíochta le muinín, agus bhí Cillian ag spaisteoireacht trí leabhair, ag fáil níos mó tuisceana dó féin agus dá pháis.
En: Gradually, Aoife continued to read her poetry with confidence, and Cillian wandered through books, finding more understanding of himself and his passions.

Ga: Bhí siad beirt tagtha ar an tuiscint go raibh an grá don litríocht in ann na bearsaí sa saol a líonadh.
En: Both of them had come to the realization that a love for literature can fill the gaps in life.
