Joe Corallo and Butch Mapa talk Kardak the Mystic

Things have been busy here at the Cryptid Creator Corner and we have another brand new episode this week. JOE CORALLO RETURNS and brings with him first time guest BUTCH MAPA. Joe and Butch have teamed up on the one-shot of Kardak the Mystic, which was out from Archie Comics on August 14th. Joe & Butch discuss how they pulled elements from Kardak’s history to create a new story for both old and new fans. Butch talks about the character designs and creating the look of Kardak’s powers and how Ellie Wright’s colors elevates and complements his artwork. I had a great time chatting with Joe and Butch and this conversation left me wanting more Archie Comics!
