Titles And The Art Work

Titles And The Art Work

Beginning with a vase of fading flowers and moving into the birth of a new section called Substratum, this episode reflects on how a body of work gradually reveals its own direction. It considers the place of titles in photography: not as labels for what is already visible, but as part of the creative process itself. A good title can open meaning, invite feeling, and leave room for the viewer’s own story; a careless one can narrow or diminish what the image carries.
