From the military occupation of DC and Trump’s threats to expand to Chicago, NYC, and Baltimore, to more Eric Adams corruption, there was a lot to cover! We get updates from Relly and Rudy on their lives and work, then get into federal agents on the ground in DC. We discuss the occupation in comparison with the current reality on the ground with the NYPD in NYC. We discuss online activists vs content creators vs activists on the ground. What is the line between doing the work and just trying to profit off of a reputation? We discuss the situation in NYC with folks being called out on multiple fronts for taking advantage of the movement and of people. We discuss white activists defending this behavior from other white activists, all while profiting off of Black and brown people. We return to the topic of politicians and whether we can hold them accountable, and the ways they take advantage of the community.
