Last summer, in episode 133, listener stories 53, Kharma wrote to us telling us about a chilling experience they had in the summer of 2020. They had seen what they described as a crawler… Since that time, I have been fascinated by these beings and have had this topic on my list of episodes. I initially believed that crawlers were concentrated around the Appalachia area (hence their place in Appalachia April) and they absolutely sound like something that belongs in these woods, but in doing my research, I have found that they go far beyond those mountains. They have been seen all over North America, and I have several stories for you today that will no doubt give you that same sense of unease as the rest of our topics have this month. So, I guess for this one it turns out to not be totally Appalachia based, but about something that does reside here and gives off that same Appalachia vibe.
