Sl: Mateja je sedela na klopci ob Čolnarni na Bledu.
En: Mateja was sitting on a bench by the Čolnarna at Bled.

Sl: Spomladanski zrak je bil svež in prijeten.
En: The spring air was fresh and pleasant.

Sl: Drevesa so začela brsteti, cvetje je dišalo.
En: The trees had begun to bud, and the flowers were fragrant.

Sl: Jezerno vodo je nežno valoval lahen veter, ki je prinašal vonj po sveže pokoseni travi.
En: The lake water was gently rippling under a light breeze carrying the scent of freshly cut grass.

Sl: Mateja je gledala otok s cerkvijo, ko je čopič počasi drsel po platnu.
