Story Transcript:

En: On a spring day, the shapes and colors in Южния парк of София painted a kaleidoscope before the eyes of the strolling people.

En: Георги, a self-proclaimed botanist, held the hand of Петя—his curious lady, who was an avid gardener.

En: Their walk through the beautiful garden was special for the occasion of Easter.

En: Георги's ambition was to impress Петя by correctly naming every flower around.

En: "That's a кръстачка," Георги declared confidently, nodding at a fiery red flower.

En: Петя raised an eyebrow. "Actually, I think that's a tulip," she said.

En: Георги smiled with feigned self-assurance. "No, no, I'm sure," he insisted.

En: They continued on, with the flowers around them making Георги's head spin as well.

En: "Here's a синчец," Георги announced with enthusiasm in his voice, pointing at a yellow plant.

En: Петя laughed: "Georgi, I tend to think that's a marigold."

En: As they wandered, admiring the different spring colors, Петя sensed something odd.

En: Could Георги be wrong so often? She began to suspect something.

En: Just then, Иван, a smiling gardener who had been listening with amusement, approached them.

En: "Hello, friends!" he greeted them. "Perhaps you should know that today is April Fools' Day.

En: And the labels on the flowers have been swapped!"

En: At first, Петя slowly opened her eyes in surprise and then burst into laughter.

En: Георги blushed, but after a moment, he laughed too.

En: "Well, I suppose we should really read more books about flowers," he admitted with a smile.

En: The three of them ran through the cheerful labyrinth of flowers, where smiles, not knowledge, were important.

En: Георги learned that laughing at his own mistakes could be more impressive than anything else.

En: At the end of the day, under the sun of Южния парк, Георги and Петя enjoyed the moment,

En: regardless of the fake кръстачки and синчета.

En: They realized that true knowledge comes from the heart, not from labels.
