We have special guest, the Master Connector himself, Steve Spiro who recently gave an outstanding TEDx Talk. Steve has been a friend for years. He talks about the importance of connections, collaborating, how it is paramount for business owners. Also, share his incredible story and why he gives back by helping others.

After working in sales, marketing, Steve understood being able to make connections with people can go a long way and lead to business. He talked with Laban and Nedvonne how even at the grocery store, he went to the longest line to meet people, strike up a conversation to learn as much as he could.

Steve had a brilliant mentor who taught him the power of connections, not networking, because networking means you are pitching someone, not getting to know them. I remember Steve messaged me when I was working in Sales at Albany Broadcasting.

I never believed I had anything to offer, friends advised me not to call Steve, but the more I read about him, I became intrigued.

We had an excellent conversation, he sincerely wanted to get to know me, hear about my path.

I started doing podcasts with business owners. I listened, learned how they became successful, the podcast got my foot in the door with decision makers. As a result, after each episode, I would explain how I could help with our digital marketing and advertising.

He showed Laban and Nedvonne how regardless of what business you are in, making personal connections with people is how you can see growth.
