First up, Qanon, the sprawling 4chan conspiracy theory that has melted the brains of too many of your neighbors, who are now convinced that Trump and Robert Mueller are bravely battling the deep state against the Democrats’ cabal of child sex satan worship. And that’s not all: cryptid erotica has made its way into a Virginia political race, right-wing Youtuber Jordan Peterson’s daughter Mikhaila is hawking a beef-only diet, and liberal weirdos Brian and Ed Krassenstein wrote a book explaining Trump’s sexual misdeeds to children. In pop culture, we’re recounting Jeff Maysh’s story of Jerome Jacobsen, the ex-cop who rigged McDonald’s Monopoly game, how Netflix movies are today’s straight-to-video films, and the DC premiere of Dinesh D’Souza’s ridiculous revisionist documentary, Death of a Nation.
