🌱 Beginning with Intention with the New Moon in Virgo:Weekly Astrology Forecast for September 2 - 8

In this weekly podcast, depth psychotherapist and astrologer Shawna McGrath shares the astrology of this week from a psychological perspective.

This week's astrology of September 2nd - 8th brings opportunities for beginning fresh with intention. We have a New Moon in Virgo happening on Monday 9/2 at 6:55pm Pacific Time at about 11 degrees of Virgo. This symbolizes a rebirth around ritual, routine, ideal images of self & other, and basically asks: why are you doing what you're doing? How does the now inform the future? Also this week, Mars in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces to show how we can move in the flow and still get where we're going. Shortly after, Mars moves into Cancer on Wednesday 9/4. This is a shift where our capacity for action, assertiveness, and being direct (or not) becomes incredibly informed by emotions. Also this week, Mercury in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus to show flashes of insight, new info coming to you rapidly, or diverging from your norm. Mercury then moves into Virgo on Sunday 9/8 - this marks a shift to more focused thinking and you may feel that you're able to move forward after a lot of contemplation or uncertainty in August. Overall, this week is a new beginning and emphasizes how you find purpose and meaning in your life right now. Happy New Moon! 🦋
