Eric Francis Reacts to the Draft Lottery and More!

On hour one of Flames Talk, Pat Steinberg is joined by Eric Francis for another edition of the Eric Francis Hour! Following the draft lottery results that saw Calgary slide to number six, Pat and Eric discuss the sting of seeing Toronto and San Jose jump into the top two spots. They debate the feasibility of moving up from six and why fans should expect Craig Conroy to try and make a significant splash at the draft in June. Eric also shares some personal stories from his recent trip to Ireland and offers his perspective on why the draft lottery remains one of the most entertaining, albeit gut-wrenching, nights on the NHL calendar.

They also discuss why the Flames must remain committed to this path, even if it means another difficult season in the standings next year to secure another high-end asset.
