I Wake Up Each Morning Excited To Face The Day

"The word 'romance,' according to the dictionary, means excitement, adventure, and something extremely real. Romance should last a lifetime."

I like that quote, which got me thinking what are we romancing in our lives?

I used to say I'm not a morning person. I would wake up feeling tired, that I needed more sleep, and that I wished I could go back to bed. And I think a lot of us feel this way. We live in a time where we're more sleep deprived than ever, and sure we can blame all the reasons around us in why we are so tired and not able to wake up. For example, take technology, we could say that it's tv or our phones that are messing with our sleep patterns and that the blue light from the screen is messing with our eyes and confusing our brains making them think it's not night time.

And I won't deny the studies that have looked into this, I'm sure there's plenty of truth to the idea of how the screens affect us in negative ways. However, I think it can be easy to blame someone or something else for the problems and negative patterns in our lives. I believe there's a bigger culprit to the negative patterns we find ourselves in…and that culprit is the habits we choose to partake in.
