We just want to defeat, if not punish our enemies. It's as if a machine is constantly churning out conflict – some might even call it a political-industrial complex. In other words, Conflict Machine serves as a more fitting label for what we typically and blandly call politics. And in this case, the desire to "win the battle" – putting the conflict first – leads to the subject of impeachment. The political right wants to impeach Joe Biden. I used to believe in impeachment. Shockingly, I now believe impeachment is one of the most absurd parts of the Constitution. And in this episode, I explain why.
