Svein Harald Øygard has lived several careers in one lifetime. He helped steer Norway through the banking crisis of 1992 as State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, spent 21 years as a senior partner at McKinsey, and in 2009 was called in as interim Central Bank Governor of Iceland when the country's economy collapsed. He later co-founded the oil company DBO in Brazil, which later merged into Maha Capital. In Norway, he has chaired Norwegian Air Shuttle and DOF Group through major restructurings. And today he is working on taking the US gold mining company Gold Road on the Oslo Stock Exchange! Tune in, and leave a comment if you like the episode.
