Jamie is a passionate pastor, leader, and evangelist from County Durham. He currently serves as the Lead Pastor at County Durham Christian Life Centre (CDCLC) and is the Director of Leadership Training and Access at Cranmer Hall, Durham University. With a heart for mission, community outreach, and leadership development, Jamie is committed to equipping individuals to grow in faith and take on leadership roles within the church and wider society. Before entering full-time ministry, Jamie worked in sales and marketing in the energy sector, gaining valuable experience in communication, strategy, and relationship-building. However, sensing a strong call to ministry, he left the corporate world to pursue theological studies at Cranmer Hall, Durham, where he earned a BA in Theology, Ministry, and Mission.Following his studies, Jamie served as the Director of North East Youth for Christ, leading initiatives to engage young people with the message of Jesus. His passion for empowering the next generation and equipping leaders has remained central to his ministry.In October 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jamie planted County Durham Christian Life Centre, a growing and vibrant church that seeks to bring hope and transformation to the community through the love of Jesus. He also took on his role at Cranmer Hall in 2022, where he oversees leadership development and helping individuals from diverse backgrounds access ministry development.Jamie is deeply committed to mission, evangelism, and discipleship, with a particular focus on church growth in the North East of England. His work bridges both local church leadership and wider regional leadership training.Jamie is married to Helen, a secondary school art teacher, and they have one child, John. Outside of ministry, Jamie enjoys watching and playing sports, particularly field hockey, and is an enthusiastic Formula 1 fan.His leadership style is characterised by authenticity, passion for community engagement, and a desire to see people flourish in their God-given calling.
