En: The wind gently blows over the crest of Tafelberg.

Af: Johan stap alleen die klipperige pad op.
En: Johan walks alone up the rocky path.

Af: Hy soek rustigheid, verder van die stad se geraas.
En: He seeks tranquility, further away from the noise of the city.

Af: Die winterlug is skerp en verfrissend.
En: The winter air is sharp and refreshing.
