You are not distant from God—you have been brought back. In Week 4 of The Power of the Gospel, we look at what it truly means to be reconciled with God. The Gospel is the power of God to salvation, restoring your relationship with Him, giving you a new nature, and bringing you into union with Him. Through Jesus, you are a new creation, no longer defined by sin, but fully restored and made right with God.2 Corinthians 5 reveals the heart of the Gospel—God initiated reconciliation, removed the barrier of sin through Jesus, and brought us back into right standing. This is not partial acceptance; this is complete restoration.
