Meet Dr. Jessica Peck, a pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care, who over the last 20 years has engaged, encouraged, equipped, and empowered families to raise holistically healthy kids. She guides parents through those challenging parenting moments in an effort to escape shame and stigma with grace, hope, and courage. And, I’m telling you as a parent of a 14 and 16 year old, reading her new book “Behind Closed Doors” and having this conversation with her addresses everything that keeps me up at night. She is gifted at taking uncomfortable topics and making them comfortable.

I hope this episode reminds you that you have the power to be the one your child talks to - because if they aren’t talking to you about it, they are talking to someone else.
