Nehemiah 2:11-20 - Nehemiah Encourages the Jews to Build the Wall

Nehemiah has a heart to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem after a long period of exile. But what drove Nehemiah to take on this monumental task, and how did he overcome the obstacles that stood in his way?

In this episode, we explore the early days of Nehemiah's journey, from his conversation with King Artaxerxes to his initial inspection of the walls of Jerusalem. We learn about the challenges he faced, including the ridicule and opposition from neighboring governors who didn't want to see the Israelites succeed. Despite these obstacles, Nehemiah remained steadfast in his faith and determination, and his story serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of trusting in God's plan.

Jenn shares some fascinating historical context that sheds light on why King Artaxerxes might have allowed the walls to be built, despite Israel's reputation for rebelling against kings.

If you're looking for a story of faith, perseverance, and courage, you won't want to miss this episode. Join Jenn as she explores the fascinating story of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem.
