Hr: Ljeto je bilo u punom jeku, a zrak je bio topao i ispunjen mirisom cvijeća.
En: Summer was in full swing, and the air was warm and filled with the scent of flowers.

Hr: Ivana, Petar i Milan hodali su Plitvicama.
En: Ivana, Petar, and Milan were walking through Plitvice.

Hr: Bilo je to na školskom izletu.
En: It was a school trip.

Hr: Ivana je imala svoj fotoaparat, spremna za savršenu sliku slapova.
En: Ivana had her camera, ready for the perfect picture of the waterfalls.

Hr: Ona je sanjala o pobjedi na školskom natjecanju fotografije prirode.
En: She dreamed of winning the school competition for nature photography.

Hr: Petar je bio novi učenik.
En: Petar was a new student.

Hr: Cijelo vrijeme gledao je oko sebe.

Hr: Milan je slegnuo ramenima i rekao: "Pa, u redu.
En: Milan shrugged and said, "Well, okay.

Hr: Idemo.
En: Let's go."

Hr: "Kroz nekoliko trenutaka, hodali su užom stazom, slušali ptice i pjevali pjesme potoka.
En: Within a few moments, they were walking on a narrower path, listening to birds and the songs of the stream.

Hr: No, tada se iznenada nebo zatamnilo.
En: But then suddenly the sky darkened.

Hr: Snažan vjetar nanosio je miris vlage.
En: A strong wind brought the scent of moisture.

Hr: "Mislim da ćemo imati nevrijeme", rekao je Milan, gledajući oblake.
En: "I think we're going to have a storm," Milan said, looking at the clouds.

En: They sat there, though their clothes and hair were wet.

Hr: Kiša je ubrzo stala.
En: The rain soon stopped.

Hr: Ivanine oči zasvijetlile su kad je vidjela kako sunce izlazi iza oblaka i obasjava slapove na dalekom horizontu.
En: Ivana's eyes lit up when she saw the sun emerging from behind the clouds and illuminating the waterfalls on the distant horizon.

Hr: "Ovo je moja prilika!
En: "This is my chance!"

Hr: " uzviknula je i brzo uzela kameru.
En: she exclaimed and quickly grabbed her camera.

Hr: Dok su se vraćali glavnom stazom, Ivana je sa srećom gledala fotografiju na ekranu.
En: As they returned to the main path, Ivana happily looked at the photograph on the screen.

Hr: "Dobila sam svoju savršenu fotografiju", rekla je.
En: "I got my perfect picture," she said.

Hr: Petar se osmjehnuo, osjećajući se više povezan s njima.
En: Petar smiled, feeling more connected with them.

Hr: "U pravu si, Putovanje je bilo zabavno", rekao je.
