From Top-Level Sport to Grassroots Reality: A No-Holds-Barred Chat with Rosie Williams & Tina Wallace

What makes Eventing such a special sport?

In this episode of Shut Up and Ride, we’re celebrating everything we love about Eventing — the horses, the riders, the challenges, the community, and the incredible journey from grassroots to the highest levels of competition.

We’re joined by Rosie Williams, CEO of British Dressage, and grassroots rider and influencer Tina Wallace for a brilliant conversation about what makes Eventing so unique and where it might go next.

We chat about new initiatives, including Be Prepared, what they mean for riders, and how British Eventing continue to make the sport welcoming and exciting for the future.

And, naturally, we ask some of the questions riders love to debate… could bridleless riding ever become a thing in British eventing? Will we one day be able to talk with our horses during a dressage test? And what colour jodhpurs might we be allowed to wear in eventing?

A fun, honest and passionate conversation about why Eventing captures so many hearts — and why there’s still so much to look forward to.
