Fi: Lämpö valui Helsingin keskustaan kuin hunaja.
En: The warmth flowed into downtown Helsinki like honey.

Fi: Sibelius-puisto kylpi auringonvalossa, ja puut levisivät ylle varjoiksi.
En: Sibelius-puisto bathed in sunlight, and the trees spread above, casting shadows.

Fi: Oli juhannusviikon loppu, ja taivas tuntui jatkuvan ikuisesti.
En: It was the end of juhannus week, and the sky seemed to go on forever.

Fi: Puistoon oli kokoontunut pieni joukko opiskelijoita koulun ulkoilma taideprojektia varten.
En: A small group of students had gathered in the park for a school outdoor art project.
