240: Barbelo: The First Thought of the Divine

In this episode we explore the mysterious figure of Barbelo, often described as the First Thought, the Divine Mother, and the Womb of Creation. Drawing from ancient Gnostic texts discovered in the Nag Hammadi library in 1945, including The Apocryphon of John and The Trimorphic Protennoia, we examine how early mystics envisioned the unfolding of the cosmos through emanations of divine consciousness.
