Fi: Helsingin Tuomiokirkko seisoi ylpeänä kesätaivasta vasten.
En: Helsingin Tuomiokirkko stood proudly against the summer sky.

Fi: Sen valkoinen julkisivu loisti kirkkaassa päivänvalossa.
En: Its white facade shone brightly in the daylight.

Fi: Oli juhannuksen aika, ja Helsinki oli elossa.
En: It was midsummer, and Helsinki was alive.

Fi: Kauppatorin kukat tuoksuivat voimakkaasti, ja ihmiset kulkivat kiireesti kaduilla.
