Pb: Tijuca, em pleno inverno, resplandecia como um oásis verde no coração do Rio de Janeiro.
En: Tijuca, in the middle of winter, glistened like a green oasis in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.

Pb: As folhas, um mosaico de verdes profundos, sussurravam ao toque suave do vento.
En: The leaves, a mosaic of deep greens, whispered at the gentle touch of the wind.

Pb: Uma festa junina próxima fazia o ar vibrar com o distante eco de sanfonas e risos infantis, lembrando a todos que a alegria contagiante das tradições brasileiras não conhecia estações.
