Owls are fascinating nocturnal predators equipped with highly specialized anatomical features that make them formidable hunters. Unlike most creatures, these birds of prey possess elongated, tube-shaped eyes held firmly in place by bony sclerotic rings. While this grants them extraordinary binocular vision and depth perception, it prevents them from moving their eyes within their sockets.
