A year after losing the sight in his left eye Jeff Guan says he's doing "great" following his return to professional golf. The 21-year-old Australian was struck by a golf ball in September 2024 while playing at a Pro-Am event in Sydney. The incident happened just a week after he made his debut on the US PGA Tour. Guan spent two weeks in intensive care after being transferred to Sydney for a second operation.

Guan - a two-time Australian junior amateur champion - tells Mani Djazmi and BBC Sport's golf reporter, Jonathan Jurejko, about some of the challenges he's learning to overcome on the course since picking up a club again. He also talks about the support he's received from some of the world's best players including England's Tommy Fleetwood.

Barry McCluskey is a visually impaired golfer and former pro footballer. He's also a member of the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA). He tells Mani and Jonathan that after struggling to cope mentally with losing his sight to the eye disorder Keratoconus, that he's now in fact a better player than he was before.
