Georgia Porter on How to Run Better by Being More Present

Our guest today has been taking the trail running world by storm in 2022, as she has been at the top of the podium at nearly every race she’s ran this year! And most recently, she just earned herself a sponsorship with Salomon after winning the McDowell Mountain Frenzy 50 miler earlier this month.

Her key to success? Learning how to embrace what she enjoys most about running, being more present, and a unique approach to goal setting.

Today’s guest is Georgia Porter who is a trail runner based out of Flagstaff, AZ. Recently, she made the switch from the roads onto the trails, and has since podiumed at 8 races in 2022 (most of them being wins!). Georgia is also a coach with Team RunRun and is part of the All In Trail Collective.

In this episode, Georgia chats about how being more present in her training runs and races has led to her enjoying running more, her unique (but super powerful) approach to setting race goals, and how she’s able to stay so consistent in her training while still not sacrificing the joy in running.

Huge thank you to Georgia for making this episode happen!
