Second of all, the benefit of the doubt is a way we've normalized gaslighting ourselves. We dismiss our intuition, which patriarchy deems un-empirical and unreliable, and give people chances they don't deserve. Rinse and repeat until we get burned enough times that we finally stop.

👸 About Neeki: I earned my Bachelor’s in Public Policy with High Distinction and went on to complete my Master’s in Political Science, both at the University of Toronto.
