Story Transcript:

Sl: Sončno poletje je objemalo dolino Soče.
En: The sunny summer embraced the Soča Valley.

Sl: Smaragdno zelena reka se je vila skozi gorsko pokrajino, ki je izredno očarala Vida in Niko.
En: The emerald-green river wound through the mountainous landscape, which deeply captivated Vid and Nika.

Sl: Vid, ki je vedno iskal avanture, je imel načrt.
En: Vid, who was always seeking adventures, had a plan.

Sl: “Zakaj ne bi uprizorila tistega prizora iz filma?
En: "Why don't we reenact that scene from the movie?"

Sl: ” je vprašal Nikico s svetlikajočimi očmi.
En: he asked Nika with twinkling eyes.

Sl: Nika je bila skeptična, a Vidov entuziazem jo je vedno zvabil.

En: He smiled and said, "Watch out, Nika, the best part is coming up!"

Sl: « Ko sta zapeljala v brzice, je Vid dvignil veslo visoko in zatulil.
En: As they entered the rapids, Vid raised his paddle high and howled.

Sl: Toda tok je bil močnejši, kot sta pričakovala.
En: But the current was stronger than they had expected.

Sl: Splav se je začel nepredvidljivo vrteti.
En: The raft began to spin unpredictably.

Sl: Vid je nerodno poizkušal nadzirati smer, a vesla so ga ubogala le delno.
En: Vid awkwardly tried to control the direction, but the paddles only partially obeyed him.

Sl: Nika se je smejala: »Vid, izgledaš kot raček na vodi!
En: Nika laughed, "You look like a duck on water, Vid!"

Sl: « Vid se je trudil biti resen, vendar mu ni uspelo zadržati smeha.
En: Vid tried to stay serious, but he couldn’t keep from laughing.

Sl: Ko sta se bližala znanim “Dvojčnim brzicam”, se je Vidova odločnost spremenila v zmedo.
En: As they approached the well-known "Twin Rapids," Vid's determination turned into confusion.

Sl: “Gremo proti levi!
En: "Let's go to the left!"

Sl: ” je zaklical.
En: he shouted.

Sl: V paniki pa sta nenamerno odšla v smer, ki je splav pognala v vrtince.
En: In panic, however, they unintentionally went in the direction that sent the raft into whirlpools.

Sl: Naenkrat je izgubil ravnotežje in se zvalil v vodo.
En: Suddenly, he lost his balance and toppled into the water.

Sl: Nika je hitro sledila.
En: Nika quickly followed.

Sl: Skozi smeh sta se rešila na obrežje.
En: Laughing, they made their way to the shore.

Sl: Moker in prešeren Vid je rekel: »Mislim, da je tale interpretacija dobila svojo lastno zgodbo!
En: Soaked and happy, Vid said, "I think this interpretation has gained its own story!"

Sl: « Nika se je spodbudno namuznila: »V življenju ni pomembno le zmagati in obvladati, tudi smejati se samemu sebi je dobro.
En: Nika grinned encouragingly: "In life, it's not just about winning and mastering, it's also good to laugh at yourself."

Sl: «Oba sta se strinjala, da bo ta dan ostal v spominu kot eden najlepših trenutkov.
En: Both agreed that this day would remain in memory as one of the most beautiful moments.

Sl: Tok je bil resnično nepredvidljiv, a je naposled pokazal, kako lepo je sprejeti tla pod nogami ter se zabavati, ne glede na vse.
En: The current was truly unpredictable, but ultimately showed how delightful it is to find one's footing and enjoy yourself no matter what.

Sl: Veliko sta se naučila, predvsem to, da sočivajo zelo pomembni trenutki, polni smeha in pustolovščin.
En: They learned a lot, especially that many important moments are filled with laughter and adventure.

Sl: Vid je spoznal, da včasih ni važno, če izgledaš neumno, ker izkušnja sama šteje več.
En: Vid realized that sometimes it doesn’t matter if you look foolish because the experience itself counts more.

Sl: Oba sta zadovoljna sedla na obrežje in opazovala, kako sončni žarki lahkotno plešejo po reki Soči.
En: Both sat contentedly on the bank, watching the sunbeams dance lightly on the Soča river.
