Persistence, Receiving, Knowing Your Worth

In this episode I used my ‘You Are Magic Flip Book’ to give us three topics to chat on! The topics that popped up were Persistence, Receiving and Knowing Your Worth. Find my You Are Magic Flip Book here! Such a cute Christmas gift.

Persistence: ‘Your persistence is paying off. You may feel as though your hard work is going unnoticed, but it’s not. Trust the process and expect to receive very soon.’ This is a good and uplifting little chat I think a lot of my Pass Around the Smile’ers will resonate with. I chat about how frustrating it can be when you are showing persistence, and that persistence doesn’t seem to be paying off or unfolding in the way that you had hoped. In the past year, I have developed a different perspective as to why this may happen, and I chat about it in this episode. I also chat about getting curious when showing persistence - when it is working, and when it isn’t. This can tell you so much about yourself, your thoughts and what you’re trying to manifest. A key takeaway in this chat about persistence is learning to trust that your previous persistence will lift you through hard and slow times. This thought brings me so much comfort.

Receiving: ‘Don’t be surprised how quickly the Universe moves, once you have decided.’ In this chat about receiving, we chat about how important the ‘why’ is when manifesting your desires. This can really block what you want from materialising in your life. Reframing our mindset as to why we want certain things can bring our manifestations to fruition quickly. While I stand by the notion that ‘letting go’ and detaching from the outcome when receiving is important, I also believe that before this, we need to get specific in what it is that we want, so we aren’t confusing the Universe. If we send mixed signals and energy, that is what we will get back. I chat about my own personal story where I went from feeling unfulfilled and confused - to clear - to surrendering - to of course… receiving!

Knowing Your Worth: ‘Accept the good, you deserve it. Reject the bad, you deserve more.’ Here we chat about how common it is to not accept the good that is coming toward us. Whether it's a compliment, or a gift - so often, we will deflect instead of accept. What we are doing here, is affirming to ourselves and the Universe, ‘I’m not good enough for this, I’m not deserving of this.’ Knowing your worth really links in with receiving, because it’s also common to receive something amazing, and instead of accepting and enjoying it, we will worry about others judgement, or how it might make others feel. I also delve into when it's appropriate to reject the bad that is occurring around us. We don’t have to take on bad things that aren’t ours to take on in the first place….
