CES 2024 - From AI to UI/UX

More than 135,000 visitors travelled to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, including those from the automotive industry.

S&P Global Mobility analysts were also in attendance and, in this episode of Autology, speak about the key themes and showcases. One of which was the focus on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), with Volkswagen, for example, partnering with Cerence to integrate ChatGPT into its vehicles.

Iqbal Arshad, Chief Technology Officer at Cerence, joins the second half of this episode to discuss how this project aims to significantly improve user interaction associated not only with voice assistants but also the entire in-vehicle experience.

Tune in to reveal how simple phrases like "I'm cold" or even "I fancy butter chicken!" can be seamlessly actioned by the vehicle of the future.
