Why Josh Duggar Wants A New Trial Over His Sisters

Anna Duggar was supposed to be the one watching. That was the arrangement. Accountability software on every device, and she was the one receiving the reports.

A technology executive from that software company testified at trial that with Josh Duggar's settings, on those devices, getting around it should have been impossible. It wasn't. He built a second, hidden operating system on the same machine, a partition the software couldn't see into, and did his downloading over there, in the dark, on the side of the computer where his wife's reports simply went blank. For two years the software told him no. He didn't stop. He engineered the no away.

That's the pattern, and it goes back to when he was fifteen, and it's still running now, from a cell in Ohio.

In 2025 he filed a motion for a new trial. A federal judge denied it. But look at what he argued. That the evidence was faked. That an employee did it. That the prosecution was political. That the 2015 confession the whole country read was never his. And, in one paragraph, that his own sisters wronged him when their records became public.

The girls he admitted harming are now, in his telling, part of his grievance. He walks out February 2, 2033.
