Season 1 of the official Fischer-Z Podcast will be called 'Now & Then'. John chose this name to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of the band forming in 1976 and to talk about the upcoming new album in September.


Episode 7 of the Fischer-Z podcast features Protection from the Fischer-Z album Stream in 1995 and Angel of Gardinia from the album 13 Stories High in 1997. We hear about how John worked with a producer and the impact that had on the sound, what he thinks now about Stream looking back on that time as well as what was happening in the band. We also hear about the album 13 Stories High, how John looks on that really fondly and why he moved on for a time from the Fischer-Z name. We will explore this with him in this episode and Episode 8.
