Dean holds the British bench press record for a man under 90kg and is taking part in our UK's Strongest Builder Competition this Friday 31st July at Super Trowel.

Today, Dean is on the pod to share what it takes to win strongman competitions, a devastating bicep injury, failed drug tests and most importantly his deeply personal reason for why he's competing in our event this Friday...

Dean's youngest daughter, Ella, was born with one of the rarest gene mutations in the world. There are believed to be only around 25 known cases globally, with Ella being the first diagnosed in the UK. Dean explains why he's using his strength to help raise money for her ongoing physiotherapy and specialist support.
