Aida Rodriguez & The Grinch That Stole Halloween

This week, Nikki & Brie have a supersized Opening Up and a very special guest, comedian Aida Rodriguez!

Opening Up has a new look because Nikki & Brie are taping from the Speak Easy at their new Bonita Bonita Tasting Room! More details are coming, but The Garcia Twins are very excited to do some amazing things in this new space!

Nikki also has a lot to say about this season of Dancing With The Stars from the front runners, what she misses from previous seasons, and a few suggestions about maximizing the eyeballs for the show.

As we head into Halloween, Nikki and Brie are both feeling a little worn out from long days with the kids, Buddy’s obsession with playing rough, Matteo’s love of music, and the unexpected confusion it’s caused for Nikki. There are also some disagreements about Halloween costumes for the families this year. Nikki and Brie definitely don’t see eye to eye on their Trick or Treat approach, and Brie might be starting a new tradition that will save Buddy and Birdie’s teeth from cavities caused by Halloween candy!

She has an amazing new book out, Legitimate Kid, that’s already on Best Seller Lists! Aida shares details about her childhood that, included being kidnapped by family members twice! Going from living in her car to headlining comedy shows across the country, the process of wiring her first book and being honest with herself, why she had a hard time holding her book after it was printed.

Nikki, Brie, and Aida also talk about the responsibilities of mothers, the truth about giving birth, living with a purpose, and much more.

Aida closes out the show with an Inspiration & Affirmation that captured Brie’s heart, and it will capture yours as well.
