Kit Connor Is Marvel's New Cyclops and the X-Men Just Got a Lot Younger

Marvel Studios has found its Scott Summers. Deadline reports that Kit Connor is the pick for Cyclops in the upcoming X-Men reboot, with the decision landing last week between Marvel president Kevin Feige and director Jake Schreier.

Connor is in the middle of a serious run right now, coming off Netflix's Heartstopper, Alex Garland's A24 war film Warfare, and the upcoming Elden Ring adaptation. With Samara Weaving attached to Emma Frost and Sadie Sink revealed as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the picture forming here is a noticeably younger X-Men team than longtime fans are used to seeing on screen.
