Today, she stands at the highest levels of Canadian politics, becoming the first openly lesbian woman and the first Jewish woman ever elected as a Conservative Member of Parliament—a milestone that reflects not only her own determination, but the remarkable promise of Canada itself. Following the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7, she emerged as one of Canada's clearest voices in condemning terrorism, defending Israel's right to exist, and confronting the disturbing rise of antisemitism that has appeared on our streets, university campuses, and even outside Jewish schools and synagogues.
